Sacramento's school district gets a D+

Earlier this month, the third-annual District Report Card was published, giving a letter ranking to the largest school districts in California. The highest grade of any listed Sacramento school district was a D+.  The firm calculating these rankings suggested that because these counties have high percentages of low-income students, schools need to place a stronger focus on improving outcomes for them and students of color.  Read more on Access Sacramento.student
