API’s and Prop. 47: overcoming the stigma of incarceration

Many Long Beach residents with felony convictions could be applying to get their charges reduced to misdemeanors. However, Asian Pacific Islanders might not be taking advantage of Proposition 47, advocates say, due to cultural barriers.
