Richmond reacts to Housing Authority investigation

The Richmond City Council heard from residents about the investigation of accusations of neglect by the Richmond Housing Authority at the city’s public housing complexes. Residents of some buildings detailed health problems which they are exacerbated by the dust and mold accumulating indoors.  "I have asthma and bronchitis and it’s really bad for breathing in that place. They had a flood upstairs about two years ago and there is water that ran down my ceiling and down the side of the wall there."  Residents gave their take on the Housing Authority's performance, on Richmond Pulse.sylvia
