PhotoCity: more than just a photography club

The AjA Project’s participatory photography program, PhotoCity, teaches youth to turn the lens outward and engage with social issues -- to see through the camera a reality larger than themselves, and prompt dialogue and change.  In effect, the group is much more than a photography club.  Members become involved in school gardening and recycling projects, and initiate plans to build more creative space in their school.   See this video and more on AjA's Vimeo page.[vimeo=http://vimeo.com/85488071]
