Adiós, Duroville: kids enjoy their new lifestyle at Mountain View Estates

Mountain View Estates, a new mobile home park in the Eastern Coachella Valley, was built for former residents of Duroville trailer park, which has been deemed uninhabitable due to recent outcry around the park's hazardous environmental conditions.A thirteen year-old new resident of Mountain View Estates says he's happy that he can now play on a soccer field and swings near his house. “I couldn’t do that at Duroville because of the dogs running around and biting us.”  Stories from the new community, on Coachella Unincorporated.MtnView1-480x321
