Artists draw hope from Boyle Heights history

For the three artists featuring work in “Progressive Cultures: A Story of Boyle Heights,” an art exhibit at LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes, the history of social movements in Boyle Heights is both political and personal.  The collaboration itself was evocative of progressive movements that grew out of the neighborhood.
