A 10.6% wage hike for workers in Richmond

Richmond’s minimum wage employees got a 10.6% raise January 1st when the city’s minimum wage jumps from $9 to $9.60 an hour. The ordinance includes further prospective increases over the next few years. “It’s very pricey to live in the Bay Area and imagine people who have to live here on $8 an hour.”  The report is on Richmond Pulse.wage
