Home for the holidays: Keeping my sexuality a secret from family

Grace, a pansexual teenager, was brought up by a conservative Christian family. Convinced that some in her family would be horrified by her sexual orientations, she grapples with the discomfort that comes with hiding an important part of her identity. "My mother asked if I could just wait until my grandparents are dead first, jokingly saying it 'might give my grandfather a heart attack.'" Her story is on Youth Radio.
