Food bank's garden helps families with a green thumb

Green Acres and the Sacramento Food Bank and Family Services sponsored an event to teach citizens more about how to plant vegetables and keep a healthy garden.  The location, called the Demonstration Garden, hosts free classes with lessons on composting, irrigation, container gardening, backyard chickens, and more.  The story is on Access Sacramento.Garden-Day
