Soon-to-be parents get what they need at resource fair

Richmond child and maternal health advocates sponsored a public baby shower of sorts when they offered a resource fair for scores of expecting parents and their family members.  Local organizations brought information about city programs that offer prenatal and infant health care, early education, and material assistance, while experienced mothers led discussions and told stories about starting a career after having a child at a young age.  "A lot of the mothers don’t have resources like clothing or things they need for infants. We wanted to make sure they have all the resources they need to keep their baby healthy.”   Read about it on Richmond Pulse.healthy_500x279-150x150
