Making Connections: Bringing Black communities together

The second African American Organizations Making Connections event took place in Oakland, Calif., this weekend, bringing together community leaders, politicians, youth and community residents.  Congresswoman Barbara Lee, Black Panther Party founder Bobby Seale, and Alameda County Supervisor Keith Carson all attended the event at Laney College.
