Homeless Shelter Cabins Approved To Open In North Sacramento

Sacramento has started construction on 50 homeless shelter cabins as a part of their completion of Governor Newsom’s 100-day challenge, which could earn them a $35 million state housing grant for taking major action against homelessness in 100 days. “Hopefully in the next 60 days,” said City Councilman Allen Warren, “we’ll have a project we will be able to point to and say, ‘This is one of the major steps in moving the city forward.’ ” Read more at Access Local TV.
