Abandoned house fire damages Richmond teacher’s first home

Despite numerous phone calls to the city government about the fire risk of an abandoned house next door, Richmond’s Elora Henderson was forced to watch her own house burn after the city did nothing. And with the recent fires in Northern California, Henderson can relate to the traumatized home owners. “We just kind of watched it burn.
