Decriminalizing street vending moves forward in Los Angeles

Soon it won't be a crime to make a living as a street vendor in Los Angeles. The city council voted to decriminalize selling wares or food on the street, which has been a misdemeanor offense. "Several council members say it is in response to last week’s executive order by President Donald Trump, which targets undocumented immigrants who have committed or who are believed to have committed a crime."
