Not my National Anthem: Young people of color weigh in

Richmond youth weigh in on the controversy begun when San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick sat during the national anthem played before a game. Reflecting on the country's history of slavery to the racism still inherent in our society today, these young people described feeling alienated from patriotic symbols like the U.S. flag and "Star Spangled Banner" song.
