Real life superhero: mental health matters

A boy in Del Norte reaches out for support in overcoming the stigma of his mental illness, and likens his efforts to those of a superhero. "My life is affected by a disorder that makes it hard for me to socialize and communicate... Mental illness can feel like a monster to us, but that doesn't mean I am a monster." His video and PSA for Redwood Voice won first place in the Directing Change Film Contest, run by the statewide group Each Mind Matters.
