Oakland teens at the forefront of White House computer science initiative

Representatives from the Obama administration visited Oakland's Skyline High to touch base with youth involved in the Computer Science for All effort. Oakland officials say the city intends to be a national model for computer science education. "When I was a student at Oakland High School just a few years ago, my classmates and I had never heard of computer science. Even today, I’m intimidated by coding.
