Long Beach millennials say why they vote — and why they don't

With local elections coming up, and a heated presidential race this year, will Long Beach youth turn up to vote? Nationally, only 41 percent of youth ages 18 to 24 voted for a presidential candidate in 2012, according to the Census Bureau, compared to 72 percent of seniors who voted in that election. "Voting isn't really a priority amongst millenials right now... maybe they have a lot of things they would rather be doing." Students at Long Beach City College explain their voting habits, on Voicewaves.[youtube=https://youtu.be/lxo9GuliHG4]
