A new beginning for Sacramento residents

An organization calling itself I Am Prop 47 Sacramento wants to give a second chance to the approximately 100,000 residents in the area who have felony convictions and could qualify for Prop 47. The group is touring the Sacramento area to inform people about the new law, and to offer assistance finding education and housing opportunities. "It’s not just cleaning felonies and misdemeanors, it’s an entire resource fair." The report is on Access Sacramento.
