WeConnect turns 10 at Fresno Fairgrounds

In February, hundreds of Fresnans joined The Know and eager health advocates at the Fresno Fairgrounds for the WeConnect Resource Fair. It has been ten years since the event has been helping locals sign up for public health insurance and immigration-related legal assistance, as well as connecting people with fresh produce and free medical screenings. "So many Hmong people need help with enrollment in Medi-Cal. We need to bridge the language gap between the older generation living in America." Coverage from the day is on Medium, current home of The Know.fair
