Youth commentary: Kevin ‘duck and hide’ McCarthy

Before he hit the national stage when he abruptly dropped out of the race for House Speaker of the U.S. Congress, Kevin McCarthy was known in the California Central Valley home region he currently represents.  He’s been criticized by immigration activists from Kern County, part of the 23rd Congressional District, for refusing to address the concerns of those he is supposed to represent.
