Survey shows African Americans still seeking equality

Last month, a poll published by PBS showed that U.S. race relations are at a low point in recent history, and revealed the gap between black and white perceptions of how well black people are faring today. "I feel like this country is hilariously good at pretending it’s an equal opportunity place… It’s by no means impossible to be successful, but the best opportunities are tilted in a white person’s favor." Sacramento residents respond to the poll about race relations, equality, and job opportunities, on Access Sacramento.
