Choosing no debt over my dream school

Since middle school, Nanette Thompson has dreamed of going to UCLA — it seemed like the perfect springboard to a career as a broadcaster and publicist. But at a time when student debt is crippling younger generations, she got a full ride to a school close to home. She knew financial freedom would help her pursue a career she would love.
