Undocumented lives matter (in fight for health care)

Organizers for the Merced Organizing Project helped secure the passage through Senate Bill 4, which endorses health coverage for all Californians regardless of immigration status. "The reality is that most undocumented are hard working, tax paying individuals that are out risking their lives everyday helping our county thrive. They do this while having the lowest paying wages, working the longest hours and most importantly not having even the simplest form of health coverage." Jacqueline Hernandez, a student at Merced College wrote an editorial arguing for SB 4 in California, on We'Ced.undoc
