Limited bus schedules leave riders out in the cold

Fresno residents have for years complained about the Fresno Area Express (FAX) services, including its limited hours. The approved version of the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) plan – after a long and politically contentious back-and-forth between residents and the City Council – doesn’t address the off-hours and weekend concerns. The city’s main public transportation provider boasts over 12 million riders annually, but some of Fresno’s working people say FAX’s limited hours often leave them stranded.
