Food bank seeing more need as drought hurts economy

With the droughts of the past few years, residents are seeing smaller crop yields, fewer agricultural jobs, and an increase in food prices. This affects not only farm workers and produce sellers, but truck drivers and day laborers. These limitations for households to feed their families compels more assistance from local food banks, which are making the process of getting food as easy as possible. “For people to get food from us, we don’t require ID in case they are undocumented.
