Students present a roadmap for a healthier neighborhood

A student-led plan is underway to ensure, by 2020, that residents of Boyle Height's housing project Ramona Gardens will eat better, have fewer chronic health conditions, and be exposed to less pollution. Students from the neighborhood presented a year’s worth of in-depth research on major problems affecting their community. “Everyday I passed by and didn’t even know these were considered problems. My eyes are open now and I can see that we don’t have any markets and are alleys are messed up.” Read what they reported, on Boyle Heights Beat.students
