Candidates address Eastern Coachella Valley issues

Coachella Valley community groups proposed a public debate between California Assembly candidates, then cancelled when one candidate stated that he thought the organizers would give rise to a one-sided debate.  Both candidates sat down with youth reporter Ivan Venezuela to share their views on what should be done to improve life for Eastern Coachella Valley residents. The two-part interview was published days before the election. Read Part One and Part Two on Coachella Unincorporated.VMPBenoit-480x303
