Half of all young black males have been arrested by 23

A recent study shows that more African Americans have been arrested young, by the age of 23, than any other race.   The offenses ranged from truancy and underage drinking to more serious, violent offenses.  An author of the study is interviewed about why and how his group conducted this research, on Youth Radio.
