Youth mobilize for day of action

One hundred volunteers helped to clean up and landscape an old neighborhood in Coachella.  Some of them used to vandalize properties themselves, but are now finding the rewards of community involvement in enriching the city where they live.  “Sooner or later, our kids are going to live here and our grandchildren.
