Street Soldiers Radio: Bay Area parents' perspectives on schools

The Sunday night call-in show Street Soldiers Radio aired a discussion on California’s new Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF), which is designed to give school districts a say in determining how their state education dollars are spent.  Three Bay Area mothers with school-age children gave their two cents, voicing familiar concerns with insufficient parental involvement, teacher shortages, and a lack of support from school administrators.  "If you show your kid that you’re interested, they’re going to do their best to show you their best."  Read the full transcript on Richmond Pulse.schools
