Students and parents assert demands for better schools

New meetings are taking place in schools across the L.A. Unified School District, to incorporate the concerns of students, as well as parents and teachers.  New money from the Local Control Funding Formula prompts students to speak out about what they'd like to see change at their schools.  One major concern?  Inadequate school lunches.  Read more about the forum, on Voicewaves.
