Boyle Heights residents cope with air pollution [audio slideshow]

Surrounded by five freeways, residents of Boyle Heights are exposed to polluted air putting them at risk for long-term negative health effects; including higher rates of asthma hospitalizations and cancer. The elderly and young children are especially at risk.  Youth reporters produced an audio slide show that asks the community about the problems they face and the need for improving the neighborhood, on Boyle Heights Beat.[youtube=http://youtu.be/63lncXUwJ3o]
