Volunteer work, fun and rewarding

Karla Martinez began volunteering at an after-school program to make a dent in her required community service hours.  There, she helps kids with homework, but also communicates with them -- asks about their day and the subjects they're interested in.  She found the work unexpectedly rewarding.  Read the whole commentary on Coachella Unincorporated.AES
