I Am From: Boys and Girls Club pre-teens share through poetry

We’Ced Youth Media spent the summer conducting weekly writing circles with over two dozen pre-teens at Merced’s Boys and Girls Club’s Summer Camp. For over six weeks they practiced writing, built relationships and explored identity.  At the end of the summer, the youth shared the products of a poetic writing exercise entitled “I Am From.” Read the poems on We'Ced.
