Creating technology, not just using it

Less than a quarter of computer programmers are female.  Youth Radio's App Lab is trying to balance out the male-dominated tech world by teaching young people of both genders to work tenaciously and creatively on programming and coding -- skills that can get young people further than they'd get just playing with their smart phones.  Youth Radio's Christina So has the story.
