Visiting incarcerated dads on Father's Day

For many family members with dads in prison, instead of filling out greeting cards on Father’s Day, they’re signing paperwork.  a A California program called Get On the Bus was created to ease this process for kids with incarcerated parents.  Volunteers help prepare visitation papers and fundraise for family members.  The story of an Oakland mom, who last Saturday took the bus with her kids to Soledad Prison in Monterey to visit their father, is on Youth Radio.dads
