Out of a job, but in love

A year ago, Donny Lumpkins left his job as a reporter to focus on his art.  Since then, he has been depending on his girlfriend and his parents to help him out -- an uncomfortable housing situation for a guy who promised himself he wouldn't live in the economic hardship his parents dealt with.  But job or no job, he's happy to be in love.  "I’ve never been broke and in a relationship at the same time, and the sacrifices and ego-clipping that come with it tell me that slumming it might be something best done alone. Then I think of what my dad used to say. 'If love is all you got, then it’s what you need.'”His full story is on Richmond Pulse.love
