Boyle Heights Neighborhood Council votes to support Wyvernwood redevelopment project

Despite opposition from residents in attendance at the Boyle Heights Neighborhood Council meeting Wednesday night, the board voted in support of the redevelopment project to raze and remake the Wyvernwood Garden Apartments.  The Beat has been covering this controversy since its inception, as the redevelopment giant Fifteen Group has mounted plans to build 24 story high rises including condominiums and commercial and retail space to replace the current complex.  Read about the council's vote and follow the story on Boyle Heights Beat.HousingWyvernwood-by-Jonathan-300x225
