Voter enthusiasm swept across Eastern Coachella Valley

Voto Latino Action Fund, a nonpartisan group that registers and engages young Latino voters, traveled to predominantly Latino communities before the election, and stopped in Coachella.  Raul Ruiz, a Coachella native who beat the longtime Republican incumbent in this year's U.S. Congressional race, raised the political involvement, reports Coachella Unincorporated.
