High school counselors doing more with less

Students start school this fall with problems ranging from class scheduling to non-academic issues, all of which they bring to the school counselors, a handful of workers with slim resources.  Guidance counselors at Arvin High have gotten creative, starting group sessions and other strategies to meet the demands of a high volume of students -- and their problems.  Full story on South Kern Sol.
