Preparing for college at the library

As college enrollment increases in Boyle Heights, school budgets are getting cut, leaving some students feeling unprepared for their next steps.  But the Los Angeles Public Library – including three branches in Boyle Heights – offers a free college preparation program. Student Smart: Tools for Becoming a Better Student offers SAT, PSAT, and ACT practice tests, seminars on study habits, test taking strategies, and assistance with the admissions and financial aide processes.  Read more on Boyle Heights Beat.college
