The transition from high school to adulthood is full of new responsibilities. In planning for college, Kieu Anh Nguyen Le was set on becoming financially independent so her parents would no longer need to work strenuous jobs to provide for her. “After months of writing college and scholarship essays, picking up jobs anywhere I could, and saving on a tight budget, I achieved my goal.
