A Teacher’s View On Virtual Learning

When Miss Z began her 2020 school year, she wasn’t expecting to have to finish it online. When schools shut down last March, the third grade teacher found herself having to radically shift her curriculum. “I tried to change my lessons and make them interesting,” Miss Z said. “But the truth is, they are at home. Some are in their bed, watching TV in the background.” Now, she’s breaking down some of the most effective ways to be a successful distance learner. “Try to be proactive with your learning, try to be a problem solver,” she said. “It’s okay to ask for help because you are a very powerful person, and if you just put in the effort, you could do anything.” Read more at The kNOw.
