Activism While Social Distancing

While many businesses have shut down, California’s statewide lockdown isn’t stopping Sacramento activists from organizing. Many youth leaders are determined to find alternate ways of recruiting and demonstrating. “When it comes to digital actions, the youth climate movement is fortunate, because as members of Generation Z, all of us have pretty much grown using the internet,” said Supriya Patel, founder of Fridays for Futures for Sacramento.
