Exhibit Shows Untold Stories of Laotian Refugees

The Richmond Museum of History and Culture opened an exhibit earlier this month focusing on the stories of Laotian refugees. The exhibit features four rooms, each one representing a different stage in the journey many Laotian underwent. “We’re excited because this is the first time that the City of Richmond will be hosting a traveling exhibit that focuses on the refugees from the country of Laos,” said Vinya Sysamouth, executive director of Center for Lao Studies.
