Council Calls For Transparency On Chevron Flaring

The Richmond City Council voted to demand timely access to reports outlining the causes of oil refinery flaring in their community. “The public deserves to know why Chevron is flaring and what the underlying risk to them is.” The Bay Area Air Management District has been slow to respond to public records requests.
