For Homeless LGBTQ Youth, The First Homeless Shelter Is Opening Up

Sacramento’s midtown area will house the first homeless shelter for LGBTQ youth that will be open 24 hours a day. Opening sometime in the summer, this shelter being leased by the Sacramento LGBT Community Center will have 12 beds and hold programs for transition-aged youth. Read more Access Local TV.
