Census Citizenship Question Could Harm Latino Participation

As different community and federal organizations are gearing up for the 2020 Census, some people are concerned about a new question added by the Trump administration that would ask how many of a household’s residents are American citizens. “A question on citizenship status has not been asked of all U.S. households since the 1950s, although it is still asked in the longer American Community Survey, which reaches about 13 percent of U.S. households every year.” Read more at Boyle Heights Beat.
