Blindspotting Keeps Oakland In Cinema’s Spotlight

The new Oakland-based movie “Blindspotting” is gaining critical and popular acclaim as its fan base continues to grow. Two of its newest fans are Youth Radio’s Clay Xavier and Riley Lockett, who reflect on the film that’s based right in their hometown.

“This movie does a great job at using the characters to express these themes but at the same time still making them feel like real people. It doesn’t just feel like it has a message to get across; it feels like it has a story as well.” Read more at Youth Radio.
